Covering the large part of upper Congress Street towards the West End, Arts District is located few blocks from the working waterfront in Portland Maine. are close by. The Arts District is home to Portland Museum of Art, Children’s Museum of Art, Children's Theater of Maine, the Henry Wadsworth Longfellow House, Maine Historical Society & Museum, Maine College of Art, and the Institute of Contemporary Art.
